Arrow Pattern & Foundry provides CNC machining services using machines that are fast, repeatable and programmable, which can function while unattended, making it possible to manufacture parts quickly and efficiently. We use only the best equipment in cnc machining. Our line of Haas CNC Vertical Milling machines ensure that your part is machined and validated correctly in any situation.
Arrow Pattern & Foundry's skilled team of engineers and machinists have long experience in building and machining prototypes. The toolmakers that operate the CNC Mills recognize that theirs is usually the first step toward the completion of a job, and they use their many years experience to ensure that the remaining operations can be performed successfully.
Programming with the latest design software, Arrow Pattern & Foundry has the ability to produce anything from the production machining of aluminum parts to complex graphite electrodes to hardened tool steel parts and produce a very precision product. When you add Haas CNC Machining to the equation, you get better accuracy and precision coupled with the ability to make many accurate parts quickly.
Arrow Pattern & Foundry's Vertical Machining Centers (VMC's) are used when a number of different operations are required on the same part. These machines are known by the term CNC (Computer Numeric Control), which means that the operation of the machine is computer controlled. A VMC is a Milling Machine with computer control and more than 20 different tools available. With a VMC, normally the material being machined is held steady in a fixture or precision vice on a table. The table is moveable and the computer controls the movement. The tool being used is mounted in a spindle that spins and can move up and down as needed to perform whatever cutting operation is required. All of the movements, rates of movements (feed rates) and tool rpm are controlled simultaneously. Some common operations that a VMC can perform include drilling, tapping, milling, boring, reaming and more. Almost any material removal operation that is required can be done on a VMC. And it can be done accurately, quickly and with a high degree of repeatability.
CNC machining works by translating programmed instruction coordinates into precision motion along the path specified. The router tool machines that path to produce the desired profile. This allows a programmer to write a part program and make many identical parts today, and then run that same program weeks or months from now and get identical parts that will fit just as well as those made today.
Arrow Pattern & Foundry's VMC Machines are networked to the design program computers, which decreases the production time involved in machining each part. This CNC Machining process can be loaded all at once or loaded interactively, a process called drip-feeding.
