Arrow Pattern operates an in-house bronze, brass, aluminum, and steel casting facility. Experienced pattern makers create tooling from StereoLithography masters using the R.P.M. (Rubber Plaster Mould) process, creating a cavity into which the brass, bronze, or aluminium may be cast.
This method produces brass, bronze or aluminium castings at the front end of a project before conventional tooling is available, or before it can be economically justified. Turnaround time from data to cast component is generally 3 weeks. Arrow Pattern & Foundry also offers matchplate and loose bench molding in green sand, cold set and ceramic for prototyping and limited-run production requirements.
With cast tooling and prototyping Arrow Pattern & Foundry has the capability, with our on-site foundry, to produce high quality cast tooling at a low cost to our customers. We cast prototype molds in bronze, brass, aluminum, and steel and use these molds to manufacture prototype parts for our customers using our on-site transfer presses.
Arrow Pattern & Foundry can also provide the cast tooling to our customers if they desire to manufacture prototype parts at their facility. Arrow Pattern & Foundry's unique prototyping system not only provides our customers with prototype parts quickly, it allows for modifications to be performed cost effectively and within short lead-times as well.
In Arrow Pattern's Foundry all parts of the casting process are verified. Foundry sand is tested to assure the optimum mixture. Metal samples are analyzed for their component elements. A hardness testing device ensures castings meet customer requirements for material hardness.
Arrow Pattern & Foundry has earned a reputation for fast deliveries, superior quality, competitive pricing, and outstanding customer service. Arrow Pattern & Foundry has the unique ability to deliver orders as small as 1 piece or in excess of 10,000 pieces, and can cast parts in weights ranging from 1 lb.
to over 8,000 lbs.
As for services, Arrow Pattern & Foundry can create a prototype on-site for testing and validation in as little as 3 weeks!
